ESTONIAN SINFONIETTA AT VILJANDI EARLY MUSIC FESTIVAL

The oldest early music festival in Estonia started in 1982, its Artistic Director is Neeme Punder.
On July 14th Estonian Sinfonietta Soloists with the oboe soloists Olev Ainomäe and soprano Arete Teemets performed at the Paulus Church
“Ich habe genug,” BWV 82, a cantata by Johann Sebastian Bach, and “Exsultate, jubilate,” K. 165, a motet by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The orchestra played also Felix Mendelssohns’ String Symphony No.10 and "Lustige Suite" by Georg Friedrich Telemann.
The concertmaster and music director of this concert was Maano Männi.
