THE NEW YEAR’S EVE CONCERT OF ESTONIAN SINFONIETTA IN VILJANDI
THE CARNIVAL OF VENICE

Estonian Sinfonietta ends the year 2019 on Sunday 29.12 with a carnival in the Estonian Traditional Music Centre in Viljandi. The concert consists of the masterpieces from Mozart, Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, Ernst, Piazzolla, Debussy and Massenet.

The hint of Venice comes in the form of two wonderful virtuosi from Italy- Massimo Mercelli on the flute and Claudio Mansutti on the clarinet. The fireworks of the concert- Piazzolla- is played by Johannes Põlda, beautiful singing melodies are brought by Jarkko Ensio Launonen on the cello and Karl Johann Lattikas on the vibraphone. But, during the variations from Paganini and Ernst, every person on the stage has a chance to be a soloist
